Good News Tuesday 8/18

Jose is free! Salvavision was able to support him by sending letters of hope and money while he was in the detention center. Salvavision  connected and worked with the amazing organiztion @raicestexas who helped with Jose’s bond of $9,000 to be able to free him from the horrible detention center. Jose is an asylum seeker from Mexico, where he fled the cartel that has killed his family members last year. Jose has a bright future ahead of him and we are honored to be able to help this smart, kind young man start the rest of his life!
Your DONATIONS AND SUPPORT did this! YOU are making a difference when you contribute in which ever way you prefer. Continue supporting Salvavision to be able to continue the fight and giving people a second chance! #freethemall #donate

Good News

UPDATE: Back in June we posted about Ana and her husband Erik who are asylum seekers from Cuba

Ana came with her husband and presented themselves at the border for asylum where they did pass their credible interview, but then were separated. Her husband has been in detention for 6 months waiting for his appeal for his asylum and Ana was sent to Texas with no resources. Salvavision with the support of your donations was able to bring her to Tucson this last weekend from

Texas! We were able to set her up with housing, food, and other resources. Special thank you to Casas Alitas for all your donations!

While we are still fighting for Erik to be released, we are one step closer to reuniting this family!

We are still in need of baby resources such as clothing, food, diapers, etc. Please email us or DM to coordinate donation drop off pick up. Or DONATE using link in bio

*We made sure Ana was safe and healthy before traveling and meeting with Salvavision*

Freedom for Francisco

With your support and donations through GoFundMe and directly to Salvavison Rescue Arizona, Francisco is out of the detention center and now with a host family! We cant thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. Although Francisco is only one out of many who are in these centers, we are dedicated and working everyday (especially in times like these) to help migrants out and in a safe home while they wait to be heard. Please continue to donate if possible as we continue to give to those who are not out yet and those at shelters in Mexico. Now more than ever our brothers and sisters need our support to ensure they have hygiene items and money to call their loved ones from detention centers.

Thank you forever! – Salvavision Rescue

Meet Fransico a young migrant only 24 from El Salvador who has been in detention at La Palma for the past 6 months. Here he has been seeking protection from prosecution in El Salvador by the violent gangs. Fransisco’s best friend died trying to flee the same gangs in El Salvador last year in the hot AZ desert.

We are joining forces as a community to help Francisco get out of detention by assisting him with his newly given bond of $7,000.  This young man has a heart of pure kindness and as Salvavision Rescue has been with him through his entire journey of trying to get asylum, we are here with him while he waits for his asylum case to be heard and to be able to be free and start a new life.

With the help of other organizations such as No More Deaths,Keeping Tucson Together and the  Samaritans we will rally together to help Fransicio make his bond.

We appreciate you and please donate what you can- anything helps. We can’t thank our community and donors for your continuous generosity. Please share with your own communities and help Francisco find freedom and safety.

Once Fransicso is out on bond, Salvavision Rescue will be working with him to find a host family while he waits for his court hearing. Please visit our website and Facebook page to learn more about our mission and programs and other ways you can help our fellow migrant brothers and sisters.
